FCC Grants Spirit Radio a Construction Permit

GOOD NEWS! On October 2, the FCC granted us a construction for a 70,000 watt FM station at 88.5 in Cross City. It has been a long wait to get the CP, but now the real challenge begins. The FCC allows a maximum of 3 years to get our station built and on the air. This will be a challenge since we will need to raise another $250,000-300,000 to make it happen. e are also looking to amend our original application so we can move our transmission tower slightly which would allow us to increase our tower to 500’ and raise our power to 100,000 watts. That translates to a much larger number of people who will be able to hear the station! This may take additional months but will be well worth the wait. The Lord is on our side, which is what David said as he challenged Goliath. Let’s pray that all will be accomplished within the 3 year window we have to build it.
