Mission Statement:
Spirit Radio 2000 is a radio ministry of St. Patrick Church and the
Diocese of St. Augustine dedicated to bringing the Holy Spirit to all
listeners. Its message is based on the Bible. Our mission is
to offer quality programming to meet the spiritual needs of all people
by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ in the fullness of the
Catholic Tradition.
Corporate Organization:
We were incorporated with the State of Florida on July
22, 1999. We have our own checking account, dba “Spirit Radio,”
and donations are tax deductible. We are also in the process of
applying for our exemption from the Florida State Sales Tax.
The Directors of our corporation are: Bishop Victor B. Galeone; Father Roland M. Julien; Msgr. Vincent J. Haut; Charles Kramer; Mary Kramer; Connie Muse; Richard Murphy; Cynthia Bevilacqua; George Matt; Janet Vetter and Francesca Maturo.
We schedule one annual meeting of the corporation in October or November. Work is done between meetings by a Gainesville/Starke committee which meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday at 7:30 pm at St. Patrick rectory in Gainesville. The Cross City/Chiefland committee meets quarterly at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Chiefland.
